First consultation is totally free and a chance for you to ask any questions/queries you may have. I carry out a postural assessment as part of the consultation to establish not only how to achieve your goals but how to do this safely and most effectively for you.

The prime purpose of sports massage therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during times of stress or exertion on the body’s muscles. Massage breaks down the barriers and tension and helps to prevent those niggling injuries that get in the way of performance and our daily lives.

Massage is not just for athletes or gym users, anyone can benefit from a sports massage, especially those in both physically demanding jobs and desk jobs. Factors such as occupational or postural stress can cause charactersitics similar to those seen in sporting injuries. So those spending long periods sat in front of the computer often present with tightness in the shoulders and upper back seen in hunched and forward shoulders.
