Hey guys,
Sorry here we have a seriously easy no bake recipe I created on the weekend. Having been for a few (too many) drinks on the Saturday night I could of spent all day Sunday moping and feeling sorry for myself but instead I whipped up these little beauties and felt so much better for it !
I N G R E D I E N T S
- 150g dates (soaked in warm water for 10mins then drain)
- 150g cashews/almonds (I used a mix of both)
- 250g quark (fat free soft cheese found in all major supermarkets)
- 2 scoops Natural Whey Strawberry flavour *SMNWC -discount code* on all products (feel free to experiment with other flavours – really tempted to try out this one next time…)
Topping:
- freeze-dried strawberries (Tesco)
- chopped roasted hazelnuts
M E T H O D
- soak the dates for 10mins in warm water to soften then drain
- add dates and nuts to a blender and pulse until combined
- press mixture into a medium sized flan dish (or make into smaller cupcake versions -makes 12 depending how thick you like the base)
- leave to set in the freezer for 30mins
- mix together the quark and protein and dollop on top of the base
- place in the fridge to set for 3-4hours
